Quick Recipies to make With Egg in your Hostel or PG Room
1.Egg fingers
No of servings-2
Ingredients:-
- Eggs -6
- Rice Flour -1/2 cup
- Corn Flour -1/2 cup
- Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
- Salt – as required
- Oil – for deep frying
- Bread crumbs
Preparation Method:-
- Take 5 eggs in a bowl mix salt, pepper and beat the eggs well
- Take a flat bottom vessel grease with oil and Pour egg mixture into the bowl
- Take a pan to add water and place the egg mixture and steam cook for 20 minutes on medium to low heat. close and cover with a lid
- Check if it is cooked and get it cooled down. flip it to a plate
- Cut into thick pieces like finger shape.
- Take a bowl and add 1 spoon corn flour, rice flour and a pinch of salt.
- Beat an egg and keep it aside.
- Take the egg slices one by one and first coat with the flour mix, then Dip in the egg mixture and then Coat with bread crumbs.
- Keep the oil for deep fry and get the oil heated. Deep fry them till it turns golden brown.
- Serve hot with ketchup and enjoy it with your snack time.

2.Egg Bonda
Number of servings: 4 persons
Ingredients:-
- Boiled eggs
- oil for deep fry
- 1 pinch turmeric powder
- salt as per taste
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 cup besan flour
- 1/2 tsp pepper powder
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- water as needed
Preparation Method:-
- Boil the eggs without any breakage, remove the peel and keep it aside.
- Take a bowl and add some salt, pinch of turmeric powder, chilli powder & pepper powder.
- Mix well and take the boiled eggs and put some slits on it.
- Roll the eggs in the prepared spice mix and coat them well.
For batter preparation:-
- Take a bowl to add besan, rice flour, salt, chilli powder, pepper powder, ginger-garlic paste.
- Add water slowly and form a thick batter. Adjust water as per consistency.
- Dip the prepared boiled eggs in this batter. For deep fry heat some oil in a pan and add the eggs into the pan. Fry them on a medium-low flame until they turn into a nice golden-brown colour.
- Cut the egg bondas in half and serve with onions and lemon for a tangy taste.

3. Masala Egg Bites/Masala omelette
This recipe can be prepared in 2 methods. If you have paniyaram pan available in your rooms you can make paniyarams or else prepare with the help of pan like an omelette.
Ingredients:-
- 4 Eggs
- Salt as per taste.
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 chopped Onion
- 2 tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves
- 1 Chopped Green Chilli
- 2 tsp Oil
Optional:-
Vegetables like carrot, beans, capsicum, Spinach
Adding of these vegetables makes the omelette very tasty and healthy. This is good for diet
Preparation Method:-
- Take a bowl beat the eggs and add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and mix it well.
- Add chopped onion, green chillies, coriander leaves and mix well.
- Take a paniyaram pan just add oil and pour the egg mixture in 3/4th each hole and cook on low to medium flame on both sides.
- Once it is cooked on both sides take it and it hot.
Preparation method:-
- If you want to include spinach in your dish. Just add some oil and fry the onion, vegetables and the finely chopped palak. After that add all the spices and then add the beaten eggs.
- Just pour this batter like a thick omelette or also u can scramble the eggs with this mixture.

4.Egg 65
Egg 65 is the best top listed street snack. This procedure helps to prepare tasty and crunchy egg 65.
Ingredients:-
- boiled eggs – 6
- raw egg – 1
- 2 tsp cornflour/besan
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp gram masala powder
- salt as per taste
- 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- oil – 2 tbsp
Ingredients for Sauce preparation:-
- chopped garlic – 1 tbsp
- chopped ginger – 1 tbsp
- curry leaves – 10
- green chillies – 2
- curd – 1/3 cup
- coriander leaves – 1 tsp
Preparation Method:-
- Boil the eggs and separate the yellow from the boiled eggs. Take a bowl and chop the boiled eggs(only white)
- Add cornflour/besan, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, salt as per taste, ginger garlic paste and 1 raw egg.
- Mix all the ingredients properly.
- Take a pan to add the oil for deep fry. Once the oil is hot add small portions like pakodas.
For the sauce preparation Method:-
- In another pan heat 2 tbsp of oil and 1 tbsp of chopped garlic, chopped ginger, curry leaves. Fry them on high flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add 2 thin slit green chillies,1/3 cup of curd and stir on low flame. Add chilli powder, salt as per taste. Keep the flame on low -medium and then add the fried eggs and stir fry for 2 minutes 7.garnish with some finely chopped coriander leaves.
Note:-if you want you can add the fried eggs to the sauce or else you can have it as plain. Adding of the sauce gives the crunchy Manchurian taste and flavour.

5.Egg kebab
When we used to eat veg kebab, chicken kebab and then egg kebab is also easy to prepare and taste yummy as these are made with boiled potatoes that give an additional taste.
Ingredients:-
- Boiled eggs – 2 or 3
- Boiled potatoes – 4
- Oil – for deep frying
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- Pinch of turmeric powder
- ½ tsp roasted cumin powder
- ½ tsp coriander powder
- salt to taste
- coriander leaves
- Beaten egg – 1
- Bread crumbs – 1 cup
Preparation Method:-
- Boil the eggs remove the skin and keep it aside. Boil the potatoes also
- Take a pan to add 2 tbsp of oil. Once the oil is heated add cumin seeds, finely chopped onion and sauté well.
- Next add finely chopped green chilli, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder and fry it well.
- Mash the boiled potatoes and add to the pan After that add all the spices like cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and salt adjust as per the taste
- Mix everything and cook on a medium flame for 3-5 min
- Finally, add 2 to 3 tbsp of finely chopped coriander leaves and keep it aside and get it cooled down.
- Grease your hand with oil and take the potato mixture and flatten it. Take the boiled egg and place it on the potato mix, cover it in an oval shape.
- Take a bowl and beat one egg. Dip this ball in the egg mixture and roll it on bread crumbs.
- Heat oil and deep fry this kebab on medium heat evenly on all sides until get a nice brown texture.
- Cut it in the middle or else you can serve like that.

6.Egg chatpata
Ingredients:-
- 4 Eggs
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- Chopped coriander leaves
Preparation Method:-
- Take a pan and boil the eggs, make sure that the eggs should not be broken
- Remove the skin and keep aside cut the eggs into 2 equal halves
- Sprinkle a pinch of red chilli powder, salt over the eggs and keep aside
- Take a bowl to add the chopped onions, red chilli powder, pepper powder, cumin powder, salt and mix it well
- Take a pan heat 2 tbsp oil to add half portion of the onion mixture and Set aside the remaining mixture for .fry till onions become soft
- Now gently place the eggs on the pan and stir fry for 2 minutes on low flame. Turn and flip on both sides and fry for 2-3 minutes until they turn crispy.
- Add remaining onion mixture, sprinkle lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves on top of it.
