After installing WordPress, one of the first things we do is adding plug-ins.
Now the questions are

  • What are Plug-ins? and
  • How to add Plug-ins in WordPress?

What are Plug-ins?

Plug-ins are similar to apps on your phone. They increase features of your website. Some plug-ins are used to build static pages and some are used to create tables etc….. Similar to apps on the phone, more number of plug-ins decrease the speed of your website. So it is always better to have fewer plug-ins.

Now the big Question is

How to add Plug-ins in WordPress site?

Points to mention before starting.

  • All plug-ins are not available in free website because it has its limits.
You need to have a business plan or a self-hosted website.
  • More number of Plug-ins slowdowns your site speed
It is always better to go with fewer Plug-ins.
  • We have free Plug-ins as well as paid plug-ins.
  • Plug-ins totally depend on Themes.
Few themes don’t support all plug-ins. So it is best to install a good theme which supports all plug-ins.
I basically prefer Ocean WP Theme.Yes, because of Plug-ins but also because of its speed and SEO friendly structure.
